The Institut Pasteur is administered by a Board of Directors, chaired by my excellency the Minister of Health and Social Protection or his representative, and is composed of the following members : 
- The Minister in charge of the Economy and Finance, or his representative 
- The Minister responsible for Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests or his representative.
- The Minister responsible for National Education, Preschool and Sports or his representative.
- The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy .
- A representative of the technical services of the Ministry in charge of Public Health.
The Council may be joined, in an advisory capacity, by any person whose presence it considers useful. The Board of Directors meets, at the invitation of its president, as often as the needs of the institute require, and at least twice a year : 
Before May 31, to approve the accounts for the past financial year and the action program for the following financial year, Before December 31, to examine and approve the center's budget. The Board of Directors deliberates by a majority of the members present, the number of which cannot be less than four, on all issues of interest to the center in the event of a split vote, that of the president is casting a casting vote.

The Board of Directors has in particular for mission :
- To conclude any agreement with Moroccan public or private organizations.
- To approve research and production programs, annual and long-term.
- To decide on the budgets and the complete of the center.
- To propose for the approval of the minister in charge of public health and the minister in charge of finance the allocation of specific resources to the financing of research and production programs.
- To submit for the approval of the Minister in charge of public health the selling price of the products manufactured by the institute.
